All pictures are copyright 2009 by Curtis Climer. Use by permission only. "Thou shall not steal." I know this seems a bit much, but recently I was accused of using copyrighted material on my website. I learned a great deal about copyright law the hard way. I decided I should protect my images.

Anima Embrace, oil, copyright 2009 Curtis Climer
This picture is an abstract representation of a dream image.

Tree and River, oil, copyright 2009 Curtis Climer
This was a quick picture, painted from depths somewhere.

River Bend, oil, copyright 2009 Curtis Climer
This is another piece of dream art, from deeper within.

Red Mountain, oil, copyright 2009 Curtis Climer
This is another dream image, I enjoyed skiing on this mountain in my dream.

Red Man Skiing, oil, copyright 2009 Curtis Climer
A wretched photo of it, I can see the dust. This is another dream image.
In the dream I was looking down the mountain at the slope skiing quite well.
It was quite beautiful actually.

Tree Brain, acrylic copyright 2009 Curtis Climer
I have been practicing painting images that come up in my mind, heart and soul.
This is one of those images. My goal was to create a picture of trees.
After I finished and showed it to a friend she felt it looked like a brain.
I immediately saw how she had shifted the background and the foreground.
If you work at it for a moment, you will see it as either a brain or a collection of black trees, surprise!
To me it is ever trees, but I can see the brain too, with a little effort.
I can see it from other perspectives, too. See what you come up with and let me know.

Transformation Lens, oil, copyright 2009 Curtis Climer
This is an unusual picture. It seem to arise from within me from the unconscious realms. I painted it to symbolize my experience of Jungian analysis and what it felt like I was learning in some rather odd fashion. The really freaky or profound aspect of it is that it is remarkably similar to a logo of a Jungian organization. I had never seen the logo before. All parts of this picture are highly symbolic. I actually painted three versions of this painting, each a bit more complex than this original. This painting is deeply meaningful to me. There does seem to be a collective existence of some sort which the heart and mind can tap into or have awareness of. This painting seems to have arisen from the collective, perhaps they all do.
