September 2010- Dr. Climer took a little hike with some friends up in
the Mt. Jefferson wilderness area. It is his favorite place on earth.
Here are a few of his pictures.

August 2010 Dr. Climer fulfilled his wife's dream of flying in a
hot air balloon for her birthday; it was spectacular.
July 2010 Dr. Climer went to summer camp this year as a camp doctor.
He went to Washington and worked for his son who was the camp director
at the Mennonite Church camp called Camp Camrec. It was a wonderful week
of camp fun and games with a little medicine thrown in here and there.
Here is Dr. Climer with the staff from the camp.
June 2010- Dr. Climer attended the
US Public Health Service Commisioned Officer's Association Annual
Conference in San Diego, CA. While there, he participated in a day long
seminar on doing environmental health assessments in disaster or
undeveloped areas. Here he is working on a water filter project designed
for locations with poor water quality. After two weeks, when the proper
bacteria have built up in a layer of sand in this device, it can filter
several gallons of water per day, and it only costs a couple of dollars
to build. This device can be a great boon to places with poor water
quality.
